About Lee County Criminal History

Lee County criminal records are divided among the sheriff, the District and Circuit courts, the Kentucky State Police repository, the Kentucky Department of Corrections, and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry. From the county seat of Beattyville, each office answers a different kind of records question. We created this private reference site to make the correct official portal, address, or telephone number easier to find.

Why We Built This Site

Kentucky provides several public and consent-based access routes, yet no single system contains every Lee County record. Sheriff Joseph C. Lucas handles sheriff reports and warrant inquiries. Circuit Court Clerk Tyler Phillips keeps both District and Circuit case files, while Kentucky State Police maintains the central criminal-history repository. The Kentucky Department of Corrections and Kentucky Sex Offender Registry serve still different purposes. This site organizes the official contacts, search routes, published costs, and request instructions that help readers choose among them.
